INTERCON's corporate offices and production facilities are located on 65 acres in suburban Kansas City, Missouri. The plant is equipped to receive and ship by truck, rail, or barge.
A proprietary fleet of rail cars, combined with a 150-ton stiffleg crane at the dock facility, gives Intercon unique ability to handle large or heavy components. Shop gantry cranes up to 120-ton capacity, and various mobile cranes augment Intercon's extensive material handling capability.
Intercon's plant provides 135,000 sq.ft. of covered manufacturing floor space:

 Rail shipments are handled by the BNSF Railway, which has direct access to Intercon's plant. Several commercial barge lines serve the upper Missouri River, handling Intercon's outbound barges. Interstate highways and Kansas City International Airport are minutes away. Location and multi-mode transportation are two of Intercon's many assets.
