ASSEMBLY & TESTING

Intercon maintains a spacious assembly bay for final inspection, assembly and testing of machinery, drive systems, and controls. This capability assures proper fit and function of all components and subassemblies prior to shipment.

Assembly personnel are experienced with diesel/mechanical drives, hydraulic power systems, and electric drives. D.C. power systems, including generators, proprietary control systems, and motors up to 3,000 HP are a specialty.

Intercon's dock area is equipped for the erection and "field" testing of heavy rail-mounted machinery with dead loads up to 500 tons. This facility is used for test audits by industrial and military customers.

Project engineers and technicians handle final installation and startup of Intercon products. Intercon's service office in New Orleans provides complete support for proprietary products in the offshore oil and gas industry. This kind of factory-direct support, represents a major part of Intercon's total quality control policy.
